At Heart and Soul Personal Training, we don't believe in getting in shape for special occasions like summer holidays or Christmas and New Year, instead we focus on health and fitness for life.

This means that we try to make excercise an enjoyable and easy lifestyle change, rather than offering you a crash course of intensive workouts. We also focus on mental as well as physical health, so you feel more motivated and energised.

We start by developing a training programme tailored to meet your specific goals. We then supervise you on technique and motivation, introduce new excersises for variety, and monitor your progress to ensure that you are getting the maximum benefit from the time you spend exercising.

You choose where you want to train - at home, the gym, the park, or even the office.

Heart and Soul Personal Training is run by Sarah Jane Colbourne , who has worked in the fitness industry for over 14 years. Her qualifications include Distinction in Leisure and Management, and YMC/RSA Certificates in exercise to music, weight training, circuit training, free weights, spinning, pre/post natal, Swiss ball training and personal Training. She is also a member of Fitness Professionals, NRPT and a qualified First Aider and keeps up-to-date with the latest developments in the industry by regularly attending workshops and seminars all over the country.

Sarah Jane started out in track and field and was 'spotted' by Tessa Sanderson, the Olympic Champion. She went on to spend almost eight years training to become a professional athelete. After years of teaching abroad and  working for Holmes Place in london, she then decided to set up her own company Heart and Soul Personal Training.
